Either way I will have my Skis ready and my Bikes as well. No snow, no problem. But crossing fingers for a good ski season here in CO.

Well, CNE and the airshow this weekend...unofficial end of summer for Toronto...It's all downhill on the thermometer from here!
Maybe it's because folks will use this to plan western trips, but I wonder why, as is typical, Killington is the only NE resort referenced unless you read the fine print. Even there, he only referenced in addition Jay, Mount Snow, and Sunday River. You'd think he would include resorts like Stowe and Sugarloaf that are more highly thought of. I like that he references Killington for my own purposes, but is it really a surrogate for the entire NE?
The predictions he's making are simply not granular enough to actually differentiate between resorts like that - and the proof is that the numbers are identical for all the NE resorts that he does reference.
Put another way, the only weather systems he can reliably predict this far out are ones which have blanket effects for the NE.
Except, probably not even reliable. Just blanket!
