This just came in from 49* North, and I'm not home. :( Remember these guys are CLOSED WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY. Friday should be epic.

"It has been a week of very eventful weather and we've received over two feet of the fluffiest powder we've seen this season! Conditions everywhere on the mountain are unreal and we have miles of powder for everyone to enjoy! The forecast is calling for another 20'' by Friday, so grab your gear and get ready for some amazing turns this coming weekend."

Somebody please go and get some for me.

Schweitzer is getting dumped on - deep and fluffy. Today was windy - delayed starts and some closures but good everywhere. Still snowing up here so tomorrow should be another repeat. Thursday night is calling for another 7-9 so Friday should be fantastic!

I'm ready for the sun to come out and my street to be plowed so I can get up there and enjoy. Maybe Sunday?

The secret to getting your streets plowed quickly is Spokane is very simple. Live down the street from a politician.

I live in Hayden and the mayor lives in my neighborhood! Very clean streets! :)

Baker has had some big dumps in the last couple of days. Last night's was a bit too big because you couldn't get going on many lower angle slopes. Once it was cut up a bit it was very fun and soft everywhere, but being brought to a halt by the deep stuff with 114s on my feet was a bit much. It was cool, sunny, and beautiful. We had a ball.

Just got back from Alaska just in time Silver Mt. has gotten almost 3 ft in the last 3 days. Powder was a little settled but skied good. Best snow for me was TE trees, did an over the handlebars on Prospector and heck of a time getting up and skis going again. Lots of snow.

Skied Silver today (Sun) and I never ski on holidays, eek. Went up and met Scott Hill patroller who heads the Host program. Skied with him and got hired as a Host. Will work some weekends and Holidays and be a congenial Host, meet and greet, show mountain etc. Should be fun, we'll see. Probably should ski some weekends once in awhile to see what other Pug skiers keep complaining about; crowds, crowding, too close skiing etc. as never exerience skiing this midweek in No. Idaho.

Oh, the snow (3-6 in-depending on where) was excellent, yes hacked up but still excellent.

Holiday crowds are a real thing. Look at these pictures from today Pomerelle today at around noon. 8"+/- on top of 4'. The longest line was for lunch.

I'm really digging these subzero days. Most of the people left within an hour or so after I arrived today. A weekend day with lots of empty chairs. Today was -6°. Perfect!

Today should have been @TexasStout's first day. I hope he dressed warm. I really needed the second face mask today.
