Ben was contemplating retirement this off-season, right? I wonder if this pushes him over the edge?

Ben looks ancient.

Ben looks like he played 1 quarter in the preseason. He always got off to a slow start but his career could be over now although it hs been reported that there is no reason to think so at this time.

Ben just signed a 3-year contract this offseason.

Looks. He looks like he’s closer to fifty than forty.

He’ll be back next season unless for some reason he doesn’t heal. I don’t see him walking away to this ending unless Rudolph comes in and does so well it pushes him to #2 like Prescott and Romo. I don’t see that happening either. He be back.

Mason Rudolph. Say it with me. Can't call him "the backup QB" or "the new guy" anymore. He's the guy that leads us to the playoffs. Vegas says 40-1 odds. I'd take that. Honestly, how do I take that bet?

Well you can bet online or at a physical sportsbook any place they're legal. But neither are legal in Vermont. So you'll have to head somewhere else. I think New York is the closest state. Mass might have things running soon but I'm not sure if they do yet from what I can see.

You could also bet with an offshore online site, but I have no idea how safe that is. I know it was big business a few years ago, but with more onshore legal ones, I'm not sure what that's like.

I think the odds makers are betting on a 3rd loss this week in SF. If that happens those odds go much higher imo. I think they bounce back and win there. I’m hopeful you will see them go more to the ground game and use their very good O-line to help set up some open looks for Rudolph. He can throw the ball very well. Helping him get open reads without over thinking things is what he needs at this point imo.

Why would they want to trade a fading QB for an already faded one? Mason Rudolph will be just fine anyway. Don't make me ban you from this thread!
Love Mason , I know the kid as I traveled with the team (OSU) Great guy and a hard worker that studies the game he will do well. They will have too shorten their routes. With a hurt Conner they will blitz a lot.
