Damn models keep flipping. Next week's storm might be a dud.

Wow. Ski Apache probably empty as well. Epic powder day. No i70 shitshow :roflmao:

I don't think they've had the gondola open either due to winds. Upper mountain and Apache Bowl must be prime right now.

Aggasiz. Chairlift. A lift barely alive. Folks, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's longest slow chairlift work again.

My only lament is that I don't think the replacement is slated to increase uphill capacity. I fear a return of pre-GCE lift lines once it moves faster

Yeah, it’s probably going to become real popular again. Oh well, it’s almost to the point where I don’t want to be up there on the weekends anyways. I’ll probably give em up completely once my daughter goes to college.

They will still have the ability to add more chairs and cabins though. So imagine they would if it becomes an issue.

More capacity to the top comes with its own set of problems.

Well there’s some snow still in the forecast for the upcoming week. That new hiking access only terrain could get pretty darn good!

Of course, there’s plenty of wind in the forecast as well. It’s a real shit winds season here, it happens and the last two seasons were a bit too good to be true.

Looks like Sunrise, Mt. Lemmon, Ski Apache might be the winners again this week. I might hit Sunrise on Tuesday if I can get away from work.
