Along the Nooksack River, WA. You can stop and see these guys every January along the Mt. Baker Highway (at Welcome) as they feed on the salmon run. It's a great post-ski activity. They are almost in flocks.

This cow and calf moved into our neighborhood this winter. Although we have a plethora of moose, its rare that they ever come to the west side of town. Just 1 mile east toward the base of the Park range, they are getting as common as dogs.
Spring has sprung up north..the snow is slowly melting and the wildlife are out in numbers..counted dozens of deer off the highway today, 2 moose and a bunch of curlers in North Bay...HURRY HARDDDDD!!!!!!
