My regret, my biggest regret is not being able to afford to go see George Michael in concert in 2008 because i couldn't afford the tickets. I've been a fan of his since circa 1980. Now I'll never get my chance.

Please don't laugh.

Top 5 cars I have been in that had Top 5 type moments

1970 Mach 1
1983 4 door Toyota Corolla
1986 Dodge Shelby Charger
1999 Ford Ranger 4x4
2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

And to you guys with your Rush Moving Pictures Concert and Red Barchetta memories. The first concert I ever went to was Moving Pictures. Parents were NOT happy. Traveled to Mobile from Fort Walton Beach. Super exciting with hearing them warming up from the outside, the the opening 2112 Overture cranking up. Smell of weed everywhere. Went with my friends (brother, sister and her bf). Halfway through the concert, almost exactly halfway through Red Barchetta, we heard a yell behind us. Some whacko didn't appreciate the sister and bf making out I guess and came down from the clouds to stick a knife in the bf's right arm. Bleeding like a stuck pig. That put an end to the concert. Did I mention my parents weren't happy? Still a great experience.

I'm seeing the Anderson version of Yes on 9/3.

They are playing in Colorado, the "other" Yes is playing in Washington...Two bands with the same name....It would be great of these guys could figure it out.

AC/DC

I had a architectural drafting class in 11th grade. Our teacher was good ole Southern boy and he let us bring in a record to play during class when everyone was working on drawings (architecture on one side, mechanical engineering on the other). One of the kids brought in Back In Black. When this came on for the first time...Well I was shocked..never heard anything like it (much different from Led Zeppelin and those type bands), but what really sticks in my mind was the look on our teacher's face. Total disbelief. He was cool about it though and that album got rotated through throughout the term. Just good ole classic rock n roll now that's really tame compared to some of the stuff that came out after.

Yeah, I know. Anderson version is right by my house, I figured we have little to lose, lol.

Forgot about Wings Over America. Definitely a good one.
I'm still listening to the Crows/Page CD you burned me :) . Live at the Greek, I believe.

Live Yardbirds set for release November 5th...

http://shop.jimmypage.com/products/599232

From the Anderson Theater in New York 1968, the original album was officially released & then pulled. I've had a taped copy since then. I'll just say that Page is heavily featured!
