My top 5 movies of all time

1) The Godfather
2) The Shining
3) Chasing Amy
4) The Birdcage
5) Halloween

Honorable mention Bound

Wow, Chasing Amy? I am impressed. I am not sure I would have it in my top 5 but one of my favorites. I even made a special trip to The Secret Stash in Red Bank NJ.

All good. I'd put A Clockwork Orange in my top 5. Pulp Fiction too perhaps. The Sixth Sense.. So many really great movies. That's why I had to go with franchises, which Godfather almost made that list.. had it there and replaced it.

Agree on reservoir dogs, saving private Ryan and training day. I'd probably watch silence of the lambs again.

I also am rather fond of Gary Cole andi LOVE Dennis Farina

#3 saw in 1983. #4, multiple times but only through Signals. Saw The Who in 81 with Kenny Jones and again in 89 with Simon Phillips at Giant Staduim.... with a full orchestra of course. When they get that old they need a little help :) still off the charts great shows. Saw The Police Ghost in the Machine and Synchronicity. I really wish they could get along long enough to do one more farewell tour. I'd go see them again for sure. Honorable mention to Grateful Dead... 1985 in OKC..

Top 5 regrets in life..

  • Friends went to see Van Halen in 86 with Haggar. I had 1 or 2 weak excuses not to buy a ticket to that show. Ended up sitting at home by myself studying.
  • Selling my 81 Firebird instead of fixing it up with a bigger one when the motor blew.
  • Giving away my 80s skateboards in 1999.
  • Not going to Mardi Gras the whole time I lived in the Dallas area with relatives in The Big Easy.
  • Lived on Long Island from 82-89 and NEVER went to Times Square for New Year's Eve. Made a serious attempt to get there last year before I moved but got sidetracked hitting party after party in Brooklyn on the way.
