This reminds me of something I heard of a long time ago, but haven't seen anyone do: wetting the ski (with water) before rotobrushing. Does anyone do that?
Once upon a time but with hand brush. Nylon I believe. You can get s good polish. Such things for rec waxing are just if you enjoy it.

But you’ve got to get the wax out of the structure first or it’s a waste.

Hmm, sounds like a good option for travel, but I'm not sure I'd use it enough for the price.

If you don't use super hard waxes at home, you're probably right.

In other words, one week at 5F or below could throw that calculation upside down.
