Camelback announced opening day Friday the 6th. Snow making has started up again and dare I say it Mother Nature may help too. 1 more week of waiting but I'll take it.
Hard to tell from the webcam whats going on up there because the guns are on at the same time but the Pocono's might get pummeled by this storm. How it jumps starts the season remains to be seem. Not sure what the plan is/was at the mountain but they seem to have been concentrating on the base area with their early snow making. Didn't seem like they were blowing the upper trail areas. Maybe that changes with this current window. You would think with the hotel they would want to get the east side up and running fast.
I took tomorrow off to ski Blue, hopefully we get hammered and they open more runs.
montage is opening up this weekend, and it looks like this storm is going to help them out a lot.
I'm not seeing the 6"-12" last nights news predicted for the Poconos as happening. Looking like a bust to me. TWC says about 1" for Montage and the Poconos. ELK 1"- 3".

Blue/Lehigh Valley was not really supposed to get much anyways.....too south. This storm was targeting northeast of 80/81/84....the NE corner. I got about 10 here in Pike County...about the same for Susquehanna County/Elk. This will help open things up here in NEPA and also get the Catskills going.

Is this Rhody or Lower Cleo? I didn't get out last year, but previous years they seeded bumps on Lower Cleo. These look nice
