This is Mabel. I have no idea if Mabel is a male or female. Mabel & her/his ancestors (all named Mabel) have lived in my yard, my attic, under my house & sometimes in my house most of my life.

California Condor on Angel's Landing
Great shot (just catching up on this thread).

When I was there a couple years ago there was a nest below Angel's Landing - on the north side, under the saddle-ish. On out way back from the Narrows the day before, at the stop in between the rangers had a scope set up on the nest -- the juvenile was enormous. The mother came circling with lunch. Very cool. Couldn't spot the nest from above with the naked eye.
