We’ve had a couple more bear encounters. This morning I couldn’t get home because a bear was enjoying a trash breakfast. Thankfully that trash’s owner pulled up and I asked him to haze the bear. Hopefully he learns to secure his trash.

I recommend getting a bear banger.

I have used one similar to the above. It launches a cartridge about 200ft distance and it then explodes with a noise as loud as a shot gun. They are quite effective.
