A couple of storms the past few weeks have begun to limit the riding around here. We had our first snow on the valley floor on October 10. Although most of it melted quickly except the upper elevations, much of the soil around here is clay which becomes a gooey, sticky mess when wet. With this in mind one needs to be careful about where and when they go as some north facing areas will not dry out this time of year & bad Khama follows those who leave ruts & hoof prints in the mud. I have even had to resort to the road bike a few times.
