That looks gorgeous but fair to say that British cars of the 60s-70s did not have the finest reputation for quality control. It must be a wheel up rebuild.

Yes, ok Lotus and the e type but....the famous square steering wheeled Allegro built with so much flex that if you jack it up in the wrong place, the back window will fall out and the doors will jam shut. ANd there were worse :)

Jaguar are doing something similar to e types

Are you sure about that? After all, the Allegro was a quality built British Leyland car :roflmao:

A friend of mine had a scimitar, built by Reliant and it was in theory a hardcore sportscar. He crashed it hard and described the effect as like being in a seat on a frame.. surrounded by white dandruff.
