Last weekend at Snowbird a young guy standing near us on the Tram deck waiting started to lift up his board to look at his bases. I told him, "never look at your bases during the ski day. It will just make you unhappy."
Since I didn't bring any tools, I didn't look at my bases till I got home and unpacked. Yeah, they took a fair amount of punishment.
