Not necessarily... it works when it's one person's opinion too. I'm not asking for some universal objective best. I'm just asking "what do you like best?"
But I mean exactly that, even for one person. Unless that person lives in a 1-dimensional world, there would still be multiple "best"!

It's only when I haven't tried enough of something (or don't care enough to try more) that I have a "best", with the understanding of it being "best so far": my current ski is the "best", until I happen upon an even better one. Even as it is, it's not the best for all conditions, only "best overall"

If you don’t have a best, don’t vote in the poll (or even read the thread?) And if you have a best today, that changes tomorrow he probably? won’t ban you from the site.

Can we do that? Ban people from the site for incorrect answers on a poll?

I didn't vote. My "best" isn't on the list anyway.

(OK, it's "others". But I don't see the point.)

For sure.

My answer to the poll would be harry & david chocolate covered dried cherries. The variants cited above sound like they could be even better.

I thought about putting hot dogs in the poll choices. but I was afraid of your wrath!
Actually, with those appearing to be corn dogs, I might might give it a try.

In the last three posts this thread has really jumped the shark.

Imagine a chocolate covered actual cherry.
When I lived in northern Michigan, I often ate dark chocolate covered dried tart cherries. Sooooo good.
