Definitely plan for spring skiing at Squaw & Mammoth.
There is nothing like real spring skiing. Warm weather, soft snow. Nothing better. Sometimes I think I ski the entire winter so I can be in shape to enjoy spring skiing.
Instead of bundling up like the Michelin man, a long sleeve tee or a light sweat shirt will suffice. Swapping out the face mask for sun tan lotion is probably the best part.
Crowds, what crowds. Those October and November skiers, as usual, have moved on to other past times - a month or two too early... again.
We should be up at Stratton and/or Killington for a good part of December. Come on up and we’ll make a few runs together.
