So little known fact, Harley did try superbike racing back in the 90s. Canadian rider Miguel Duhamel gave it a go for a few years. Bike handled great but the engine was down on power. Never really competed for the title but that engine went on to become the inspiration for the revolution liquid cooled engine Harley's use today. A buddy of mine campaigned a Harley in our Battle of the Twins category for a few years. Wasn't a boat anchor and did ok.
