    @Started at 53 you hold your rod very similarly to how I hold mine when I'm fishing small water. Habitual or intentional?

    I am Euro Nymphing, so not casting in a traditional fly fishing manner. It is an oval cast with no fly line.

    Here is a good trailer to the video on the most efficient way to catch trout:

    Had a couple hours to fish yesterday afternoon, caught my personal best (remember I have only fished 7 times in freshwater) 21” Brown. Caught 17 fish in the 2 1/2 hours

    Note, I am a Euro Nympher, no dries for me

    I haven't been out for quite some time. River was too warm. Back in good shape now. But now I'm being lazy :rolleyes::nono:

    Last week the CFS was over 400, down to normal now and the fishing is MUCH better

    @Started at 53 Dude those look banger! I need to start tying again. Maybe this winter.
    @Alba Adventures no more for my own enjoyment these days. I shoot the occasional paid piece but its rare. I used to though. Lots of weddings :doh::facepalm:
