@Started at 53 you hold your rod very similarly to how I hold mine when I'm fishing small water. Habitual or intentional?

I am Euro Nymphing, so not casting in a traditional fly fishing manner. It is an oval cast with no fly line.

Had a couple hours to fish yesterday afternoon, caught my personal best (remember I have only fished 7 times in freshwater) 21” Brown. Caught 17 fish in the 2 1/2 hours

Note, I am a Euro Nympher, no dries for me

I haven't been out for quite some time. River was too warm. Back in good shape now. But now I'm being lazy :rolleyes::nono:
