‘Scraped‘ not ‘scrapped’ ffs.
I think the OP is trying to avoid scrapping the scrapings.................ogsmile

I used some once on a pair of old rock skis earning my turns early season on a local hill before the ski area opened up. Got a bucketful in the basement right now.

Crayon on, iron, iron with fiberlene, brush and buff. No scrapings. That process works goods enough unless you're trying for time.

Better off just buying your wax in bulk. Then again I'm just using betamix which isn't that expensive. The time is more valuable to me

Now if you want to save and reuse to make fire starters for your wood stove or something else, that's probably a better reuse.
At first I thought you said “Betamax” :geek:. It was a better format but had the same popularity as recycled/reused ski wax.

A wax wizard is even better than brushing. A brush makes dust but the wax wizard doesn't. There's no clean up at all. No one complains when I wax my skis in the kitchen now.

It’s filled at worst with stuff like metal spirals from edge sharpening, and at best dirt.
Not to mention ptex shavings; those plastic scrapers will give your structure a haircut.

No mystery I have 20+ posts on this.

The scrapings go in a crockpot. When everything is full enough the crockpot is left on overnight.

I do a 165F cut and a 205F cut. Then I do a cleaning run at 235F - that stuff is useless. Each cut is poured into a soft sided pitcher for gravity settling. When cold, I cut the dirty bottoms off the cakes and done.
Then fill that croc pot with chili and bring it to the gathering house
