How did I now know ISki and Suncloud were affiliated? I must have been a little buzzed when I bought the Sunclouds at the Mall of America Sunglass Hut. I do remember making the guy earn the sale looking at a lot of things and ending up with a pair of Sunclouds I still really dig.

These are my Ray-Ban Sun Sensors from the 1970's they get darker as the sun got brighter and lighter when the light was lower. The original case is the lower one and as you can see the snap ripped off over the years. I was in a sun glass store and the salesman saw my glasses and case, he asked me how old they were, he disappeared into stock room and came back in a minute with the top case and gave it to me free. I do not know if it is the store or the company that approves of this but I will not argue.

Not Smith eyewear, but Smith ski poles - my favorite poles of all time. Bought them in the late 90s at Sierra at Tahoe.

I had a sweet pair of prescription Ray Ban Wayfarers in 1996 - I lost them whitewater rafting near Innsbruck, Austria when our raft flipped. I had a leash on them but I went backwards/upsidedown into the water (with about four Austrian guys on top of me), and they just floated away.

Not a pleasant way of going into the water...
