My wife once called me while on a trip to Norway to visit family. She was quite intoxicated and was speaking with a pretty strong Scottish accent that she had picked up from her Scottish cousin. It cropped up for a couple of months after she returned home particularly after a few cocktails.
I have Caribbean friends like this... Jekyll and Hyde....

Oh yes, after we have had a few wee bevies there is no way any outsider would understand us although we are quite lucid to each other. As my wife points out to me every time I go back and have a few drinks with my buddies!
