The other thread has become pretty much BOA specific content, which isn't the worst thing since it is such a polarizing topic for this coming season. Lets concentrate on what is going on in the rest of the hardgoods world here. I will say there is not a lot of significant collection changes upcoming but more some evolutionary changes along with expanding of collections and filling in holes.

Curious to see what the new Elan Playmaker 91 and 101 skis are like. Supposed to be like a twin tip Ripstick I hear.

Thanks for the pics!

Is that a new protector series binding?

And what are those sweet-looking sky blue Head skis?

Seems like a number of brands are in a race to the bottom as to who can come up with the most artistically offensive top sheet!
a few singles good here and there, but as a whole - just a wasteland.
Graphics/watercolors/fingerpaintings from kindergarteners and first graders would be an easy improvement.
Out of any class in the country.

Nordica Steadfast? I look forward to trying that. I hope it has some resemblance to the old one.
Not me....

Plus the new one is 75/80/85mm underfoot.

Tyrolia Protector line expanding

Is that a new protector series binding?

I don't know enough about Tyrolia bindings, from what I can see the toe still appears to have "rail/system" release leaver. Based on what I found of prior SLR designations I suspect the new '23/'24 model may have a lower stack than this years crop of Protector's.

Prior SLR designation correlate with a form of base plate/power rail called SLR PRO and there are Demo bindings with SLR designation so I'm going with that.

^ Comparing SLR PRO vs. PowerRail specs: SLR PRO toe/heel stack heights are 25.5mm/27mm & 26mm/28mm vs. PowerRail plates toe/heel stack of 28mm/31mm & 28mm/33.5mm

also has a different heel piece, guessing SLR 11 may weigh less than PR 11

@Philpug, or any other industry insiders??? Inquiring minds want to know
