On the hold: Black gloves on a white jersey, pretty obvious. Why was the DE's NOT wearing white gloves??? They knew the Chiefs would be wearing white jerseys. THe difference? Maybe, maybe not.

Par for the course in the NFL. The Chiefs beat the Bengals courtesy of a late "push" out-of-bounds. Again, they might have scored anyway, but you shouldn't call sketchy penalties that effectively seal the game.
The late push out of bounds was not sketchy. That will get called all day.

Ah, there is a better explanation: the Chiefs were down 14-24 at halftime:

Realizing that the Curse probably did follow the inverse square law, I moved further along the sofa after half time and thereby further north of Phoenix, increasing the distance, clearly just sufficiently more to mitigate the curse. Voila, the Chiefs won. QED

Lots of chatter about the Chiefs exploiting some lazy coverage assignments by the Iggles when the Chiefs used motion. The last couple TD's were a result of that...wide open! The last call mattered but Patty cooked that D during the second half to the tune of only one incompletion. Great players play big in big games. Hurts played really well too...despite his fumble.

The Chiefs are also very young on defense and still got it done. They routinely play 3-4 rookie DBs as well as a rookie LB and a second year LB plus a rookie DE.
