Rarely ski a lot of areas in a season and not many much over an hour away, this year was no exception. Worked out of Twin Falls, ID for most of the season and skied:

Pomerelle
Soldier Mountain
Magic Mountain
Sun Valley

March got me home to Spokane and saw some old friends:

49° North
Mount Spokane
Silver Mountain
Schweitzer

Fav was whichever I was standing on at the time. Got freshies everywhere but Schweitzer.

Forward into the future!

Magic- best of the bunch
Montage- what the hell was I thinking

Anti resort West Trip

Loveland

With all of the multi resort passes, skiers are getting out and away from their own home mountain. So, how many resorts have you skied so far this season?

  1. Mount Rose
  2. Big Sky
  3. Squaw Valley
  4. Deer Valley
  5. Copper Mountain
  6. Snowbasin
  7. Beaver Creek
  8. Jackson Hole
  9. Alta
  10. Mammoth
  11. Northstar
  12. Park City Mountain
  13. Solitude
  14. June Mountain
  15. Heavenly
  16. Kirkwood
  17. Alpine Meadows
  18. Snowbird

18 so far. A-Basin, Loveland and Breck are still to be skied when we go to Colorado in May.

I didn't make it to Solitude, Heavenly or Kirkwood, but otherwise, I've skied everywhere Phil has skied this season.
18 resorts is respectable, no?

And a good time was had at every one:daffy:

Possibly my favorite surprise was Crested Butte. First time skiing there. Went for two days in late Feb and three days in early Apr. Great conditions both times. Really liked the mix of hard and easy terrain, friendly vibe of the regulars, and youthful vitality provided by the Western Colorado Univ students.
