I want to travel more, but it's hard to justify with the mountains I have so close to my home.

Every season the last couple of years I've had a goal of skiing at least 2 new places. And I've managed it each year. This season I hit 5 new places, Mount Snow, Stratton, Sunday River, Big Sky, and Stowe. I may be adding A-Basin to the list too - I'll get 2 more days somewhere in CO anyway. Days are in parentheses.
  1. Sunday River (1)
  2. Canaan Valley (1)
  3. Taos (6)
  4. Mount Snow (1)
  5. Stratton (1)
  6. Big Sky (6)
  7. Whitetail (1)
  8. Mad River Glen (1)
  9. Sugarbush (1)
  10. Stowe (1)

For me, it's been a pretty good year. I've got a couple more days planned at Alta/Snowbird this month; that should get me to 18 days.for the season. The only new one for the year was Mt. Rose.

1. Snowbasin - 1
2. Jackson Hole - 3
3. Mt. Rose - 1
4. Alpine Meadows - 1
5. Squaw Valley - 1
6. Heavenly - 1
7. Big Sky - 6
8. Snowbird - 1
9. Alta - 1

1. Stevens Pass
2. Mission Ridge
3. Crystal Mountain
4. Loup Loup Ski Bowl
5. Alpental
6. Mt. Bachelor
7. White Pass
8. Kicking Horse (this weekend)

I can't compete with the serious destination skiers in this thread, but I'll throw my name in with the most quality over quantity years I've ever had.

1. Jackson Hole (3)
2. Big Sky (4)
3. Alta / Snowbird (2)

If I could only ski those three resorts until the day I die, I'd be a happy, happy skier.

Bumping this and updating my list... looking at it, I'm surprised I didn't get multiple days anywhere other than the 2 week long trips I took.

Having the Epic Military Veterans Pass I skied was was covered. Skied my home mountain Stevens Pass 8 days and Whistler 5 days. Not the best now this year for either resort.
