Colorado Winterpark Crowds Feb 27th 2016 Weekend?

Hi,

wondering if experienced folks can give me an idea of how crowded WP may be on the weekend of Feb 27th. Turns out there's a Wells Fargo Downhill going on, same weekend I can make it out there.

I don't mind crowds for the race, in fact it may be fun to catch some of the race action as diversion but might be able to plan alternate weekend if history shows lifts and trails to be overwhelmed.

What terrain do you want to ski? This has been such a weird year - nuts crowds on off weekends and not insane on some bigger weekends.

Assuming you want to ski more Jane side, that weekend is usually a bit of a lull before spring break. All bets off if it's a powder chase, though. The Wells race won't affect anything in terms of putting more people on the mountain...

Thanks, that's what I suspected, too it gives something to catch should one want a break ....
