I've been skiing for 30 years now and always had fun skiing everything, but this is the first year I bought actual carving skis (Head iRallys) and I must say that despite this year having almost no good in bound powder days so far and in the foreseeable future (Park City area), it has been a super fun season just tearing up the groomers. I wish I had thought about getting carving skis a lot earlier!

You people who don't like groomers, please stay off of this and not ruin it for rest of us.

I lay the chord as well. Stein's is my favorite to free groom, especially this section we call Ridge Road. The views are amazing and the run needs heavy work to fix the dish each night. It's also my favorite groomer to ski there. It's easy to hit 60 on the top pitch.
