The more I watch the vid the more I like the idea. Depending on how similar this is to actual skiing, that could be an awesome way to train in the summer. Find smooth road with some incline, go up with the electric motors, go down on your own. Very nice.
And seeing how heavy they are these will cure the drive to lift the inside ski in turns.

When the Mountainboard first came out I had a friend that bought one and he said smooth asphalt felt like riding pow because of the pneumatic tires. Maybe this will be similar?
