I'm wondering what base structure you all use and what's fastest. I will stone-grind 4 pairs of GS skis after 3 races with no glide at all and I wonder what glide like a soap on a wet bathroom floor. I will make one cold, one warm and two mid-temperature-wise but what structures? fishbone, diagonal, or something else? There doesn't seem to be much info on this on the web and my technician has a Wintersteiger but doesn't have the knowledge of what runs the fastest

I’d like to know this as well. Wintersteiger seems to hype this up with their demo videos but no information on which base structure for what. All I know is herringbone is a pattern for grip on Nordic skis. Totally different about wondering if it’s maybe not the fastest base.
