It's like your spotter knew it was going to happen before it did! Hope you're OK. Water hurts when different parts of your body decelerate at different speeds.

It has been a while since I water skied in tournaments, but the crashes were brutal when they occurred when flying off the ramp--a lot like crashes in DH ski races....

Mad respect for jumping. As stated crashes are brutal.

Barefooting is def a beer drinking event as opposed to the slalom course is a power/finnesse/power/skill event
