I pulled the trigger yesterday on a new pair of Lange Shadow 120 LV's. (Review to follow after their maiden voyage!) My bootfitter worked hard selecting boots, pulling liners, and making custom footbeds. He also readjusted the bindings on 2 pair of skis for the new boots..

I felt tipping him was the right thing to do. Anyone else?

If you feel like he went above the call of duty, tipping should be most appreciated. Money works well, so do baked goods and beverages (check on the latter to make sure which ones are ok with the fitter). Try to avoid re-gifted socks & underwear. That might not be appreciated.

My fitter rejected my tip and it appears to be his policy - though I am not certain of that. I would gladly tip him. He spends so much time on my behalf.
