Northern Rockies/Alberta Sun Valley Conditions Update

Sun Valley has received 2-1/2 to 3 feet of new snow in the last week and Baldy is now 100% open for the first time this season.

I would say we are pretty well set to make it to the anticipated closing April 15, althoght it could still end up being the lowest snow year in the 16 years I have been here.

I think you guys have picked up almost 40 inches since we left on Feb 19.

What a change since we left in Feb, when almost nothing but groomers had decent coverage.

Monday and Tuesday were astounding sunny corn days, with groomers in the morning and soft bowl runs in the afternoon.

Yesterday was really special with 7 inches of powder and just enough weather all day long that there were no lines, ever.

On a Saturday. No lines. With powder. Damn!
