The sunset around here gets us more color, and beer at 5:00 AM is just not the same.

Love @Turoa Kiwi 's shot of the Portuguese bird at sunrise!

I have more chances to see sunsets so that's what I voted for.
One of my favorite sunset photos from Sep 2021. This is from Swansboro, NC. My brother had a beach house we visited for many years near there. Great family memories. He sold it that month and this shot is symbolic of the closing of that chapter in life.

My wife and I enjoyed a sunset meal at Harpoon Harry's in Panama City FL a couple days ago, 23 Oct 2023.

I'm going to split the hair that sunrise is really about dawn. When the world transitions from dark to light and all the colors come in.
Then there's about 20min of so of meh as things just get brighter and waiting around for the sun, and the actual sunrise is underwhelming as it's light out already. But then you can take some interesting pictures

If you're going to do a sunrise at some vacation spot or special activity, you really need to time that activity to include dawn to get the full experience.

I experienced this sunset for about thirty minutes the other day. One of the best I've seen .

Not super recent, but I had to pee early on Easter morning last year, and this was my view out the window. Not so bad!
