Brands like Salomon and Atomic offer wider models that won't squeeze the life outta your feet. For that budget, maybe check out last season's models or gently used gear, you can find some gems that way.
The boot fitter for you (the OP) is Jim Mates at Custom Boot Service in the Lake Wenatchee area, a much easier and more pleasant drive from Moses Lake than to the Seattle area. Jim used to have a shop in his home in North Seattle but moved over the mountains to Lake Wenatchee. He is a true boot god. I have really strange feet and he made my boots fit perfectly. No slop and the most comfortable fit of any boot I've ever had in 60 years of skiing. Check with him before you start anything. His web site is: http://www.custombootservice.com/
