I've met so many of you in the past 10 years, but I was recently reminded that it was 5 years ago, this week, at an EpicSki Gathering in Summit and Eagle County (organized by Uncle Louie) when we first met several members who have become life long friends.
That is what communities are about.
Ziggy has a little grey in his beard. Many of our lives have changed. Some have had children. Some have had job changes. Some have moved across the country.
Most of us have become like family and get together as often as we can.

Such a great trip! My first real introduction to the now-PugSki crowd. This is the trip that inspired me to come to the Mother's Day GTG, which then inspired ... so much more. Haha.

I miss seeing and talking to all of you regularly. Life happens. But hopefully, as it becomes less complicated in the coming years, I'll be around a bit more.

I only knew about 3 people before that day. Little did I know, I was probably meeting some life long friends.

So, I don't usually have feelings, but reading that, I am verklempt (I mean, as verklempt as I get).

The combination of only having had one cup of coffee and knowing that you all are getting ready for a couple of great weekends must have done me in.
