Pacific NW/AK/BC Highway OR97 input needed

Was going to put this in the Pacific/NW/AK/BC thread but seemed a little too far south ....

Driving to Mt Bachelor tomorrow for a week's skiing, never been on OR97 from Weed (CA) to Bend. Any input/recommendations on caution points, rest stops, snowy passes, etc. wold be greatly appreciated. Tomorrow's drive looks good weather-wise but the return trip on Friday looks thick with weather.

Mt b 40 yr pass holder here. Lol
Dry conditions but freezing fog low elevation. Keep it under 65 and u be ok. There are a few small towns on 97 for fuel. This week will be spring like ski conditions. Yeah Wednesday the weather moves in. 97 is flat so easy drive. Anything else let me know.
I'll be up Monday if u like to make a run or a brew.
