And that is correct, it is not 'the' Miata's 30th but MY Miata's anniversary.
Thirty years ago to the day I brought home my 1991 Miata. It was from the first batch of second year cars in New England. I never buy first year cars or motos. Now with just 142k on the clock I pause and reflect thirty years of ownership of what I will say has been a great car. The day she came home I had three large boxes marked Jackson Racing there waiting. Later that day I had the Miata I wanted and the only way to celebrate was to go drive, and I've been driving and smiling ever since. An ICV and clutch slave are the only two non maintenance items I've ever changed. And ever ride is as good as that first one three decades ago on the winding back roads of rural New England.
