flies fairly heavy with the extra weight of the gopro, still fairly impressive video. Nothing else on the planet besides a Mini quadcopter could get this footage.
If you are starting from scratch and you want to get into FPV flying I would not go with X4 FPV plus.
it tough to work on, you get a screen instead of goggles. The battery is proprietary which means you will be unable to get cheap replacements Flying though a screen is much harder.
If you really want to keep cost down I would go this route.
Eachine H8 quad+controller $14 dollars

and follow the links for the camera+goggles+batteries above. You will need a glue gun and/or doublesided tape to attach the camera to the quad, I personally would use a glue gun. . Its the only possible way I can think of to make an complete FPV set up for about 100 dollars.
If you want simple just quit reading here.
If you want to spend more...... the thing is get to be a ton more when you go from "toy" with a FPV system. To an actual programmable quadcopter with actual nice parts that use a nice a controller(a controller that will be able to be used with at least 10 different vehicles.....) . And to be clear once you get to something "nice" even the little ones became a tech nightmare, or a fun tech challenge. They will need programmed, bound to the transmitter, and the transmitter will need to be set up for the quad copter. Beside the fact being that its hobby its entirely possible you we break it with in minutes of owning it.
I would look into what you are able to build or I would go with something with programmable Flight controller and motor plugs. Both routes will end up being between 300-400 all said and done, but you will end up with tools, a transmitter, and a FPV goggles that can be used for other quadcopter or other RC vehicle in general.
to build a quad copter you will need.....
Tools/Materials
25-40 watt Soldering Irons with a very fine tip
fine solder
solder flux pen
Solder Wick
Small needlenose pilers
Small Diagonal cutters
Small wire stripper
Tiny allen key/screw driver set
hot glue gun
glue sticks
Heat shrink
Heat gun
doublesided tape
electric tape
extra small guage wire
Parts list
Frame
Flight Controller board + motor plugs
motors
Props
most brushed micro quad run AIO(all in one) VTX(Video transmitter) so you will need one of those as well.
