The other day I hit a big rock that was buried under pow. It cracked the edge and the base of the ski.

For the base, the crack is pretty small but it seems different than the typical scratch or gouge. It's slightly raised, and I tried patching it with p-tex, but the p-tex cracks as well before it's even done cooling down.

As for the edge, I have no experience with cracked edges yet, so I'm not sure how to deal with it. It doesn't seem to bother the skiing, but I'm worried it may cause more issues down the line.

How bad is it, and what can I do, if anything? Thanks!

Fix the base with proper welded Metal Grip, and P-tex wire. Don't worry about the cracked edge.
