Skied there in the mid 70's when attending Penn State. 1,052 vertical . Relatively close to metropolitan centers. You'd think that investment money would have developed this area to its potential .

Landlocked by state and fed owned land. I just dont think there is enough property and I know there is not enough room for snow making ponds to develop. There was a push to open more for the ski area at one time but..... Lifts are a little slow, but the lines are fast enough.
