Hey all,

I am heading to to Serre Chevalier in January for my annual ski holiday and wanted to find out if there are any snow forecasting websites / tools you might recommend?

I normally use https://pistepro.com/ due to their bottom, mid and peak forecast functionality and they are always accurate, but wondered if there are any other reilable forecasting websites that people use?

I'm one of those people that worries about weather if you couldn't guess!

Thanks :)

I second the OpenSnow suggestion. I also pay for the Windy.com app. https://www.windy.com/
That has some really powerful and useful features. It actually takes a while to figure everything out.

Not any help for your French ski forecast, but in the US I also use the National Weather Service (NWS). If you click on the main map it will take you to the a local forecast map. This will have lots of options, including winter weather forecasts, snowfall predictions, etc…
All the US weather data is coming from the NWS anyway. All of the apps are just displaying/interpreting their data.

Meteo France for Serre Che. Might as well go to the source.

Snow-forecast not bad and it gives you forecast at various altitudes. I've never paid for it as unless you're actually storm chasing the 3 day window is enough and further out is more uncertain anyway. I always think of it as a some chance Vs no chance forecast until the day before
