Due to a retina issue I'm almost usable to ski in flat light. I have 6 pair of goggles now and I've tried every flat light lens I've been able to and the Julbo photocromatic is the best I've found so far. I'm hoping the new Atomic coming out next season will be the game changer it sounds like!
A friend has those Jublo goggles and loves them and only uses that pair regardless of conditions. I have the Glade photochromatics which I also enjoy although I use a dedicated Smith for storm days. Maybe I'll ask my friend to try out his Jublo's to see if they are that much better than my Glade photochromatics.

I boudght a pair of the red and blue category 1-3 that I was trying to decide between when they came out with the red 0-4. I used the 0-4 all year for everything except a couole days with my 1-3 and a day with my old Bolle flat l8ght lenses just to compare. Next fall I'm selling everything except the 0-4 Julbo's! But I really do want to demo the new 2024 Atomic's just to see.

I am wondering, can these be the Atomic goggles we‘ve been looking forward to:

Are these the droids we are looking for?

>The goggles come with 3 extra lenses covering all categories so you’re ready for any condition come race day or night.<
Going the opposite way of the photochromic.

Curious what the antifog coating is.

I'd like to see some info on the different color photo lenses and VLT though. Maybe they'll post it this fall...

Looks like they suppress cyan like pretty much every other high-contrast lens, or am I missing something?

Untill we have some reliable reviews we won’t know. Rumors are these are awesome in terms of clarity but time will tell I guess…

Ah, well if we're the source, I believe us.

The “we” you are referring to is quite a large group of individuals with quite a few industry insiders in it, so dunno about you but I got into habit of paying attention.

I merely found it amusing that you spoke of rumours when it turned out it's us who are creating them.

Interesting low-key approach by Atomic - if they're something new, their website isn't making half the song and dance about them a specialist goggles company would be.

How is Julbo photochromic 1-3 in flat light and white/out blizzard conditions? I can't find photochromic 0-4 but see some 1-3 available online

The molded frame size is very much like the Heet, not the larger One size. The fit of the face foam is TBD, as my goggles have hand-cut face foam.
Hey Any updates on these new goggles and their availability?

For my eyes they're as good as the best dedicated flat light lenses I've found so far but everyones eyes are different. I'm planning to sell my 1-3's since my 0-4's are just as good for me.

That sounds really good! Do you have the aerospace design that has the lens that can be moved away from the frame for defogging?

I am wondering how well Julbo aerospace works for defogging - I have Abom One goggles and they are worn out after 4+ seasons of skiing, so I am looking for alternatives, and phocotochrmic lens that performs well in low light sounds amazing if the defogging works well.

I second that - I need a new pair. The foam on my Aboms is wearing out after 4+ seasons of skiing and the defogging doesn't work as well.

Mine are the Skydome for field of vision. They rarely fog but a few times when it's really humid & warm for a moment and it goes away as soon as I move.
