With that said, it’s pretty clear to me that this is a lawyerly restriction, not a physics one, particularly with these super capacitor systems. They don’t degrade like lithium batteries do, and they don’t have to withstand the pressures of a canister pack.Question: what do you think about buying used, either canister or electric?
So personally, I think buying a used Alpride E1 pack—particularly now that the E2 is available—is a great move and a killer deal. I expect to be using my E1 a decade from now. But whether you’re comfortable exceeding manufacturer guidance is a personal question.
