Colorado A-Basin & Copper Tips and Tricks

I had some work stuff shift & it looks like I’m going to get a late-March trip to CO. A-Basin and Copper are on the agenda, but probably just one day at each.

I haven’t skied either mountain for 15+ years. Any tips/tricks for how to get the most out of the day? Everyone in the group is a very good skier, so the whole mountain’s fair game.

For Copper, Three Bears and Mountain Chief I would spend most my day on, followed by Sierra. Going off both sides of lifts can’t go wrong.

Three Bears does not open till 10:30 or so, so start your morning on Mountain Chief, Otto Bahn will get you over there in the morning.
