Philpug: Yes, it would be easy to say that the Reckoner is just a replacement for the Shreditor 102. I mean, both skis are 102 underfoot, how different can they be? Well, the Reckoner is an evolutionary ski, because it retains the playfulness of the Shreditor while adding a level of modern power; it has a little less rise in the tip and tail with less flop. You can feel a level of strength in the new ski, especially in mixed conditions where the older version got bounced around.
Insider tip: The 184 is the longest length, so bigger skiers will be slighted -- at least this year.
