Alan Shoenberger is such a classic. He was and is the quintessential Ballet Ski poster child.
I know I saved a Ski Mag from 12(?) years ago that had a feature about him, but I am not sure where it is.

This article by Ski Utah sums it up a bit: The most important ski person you might not know

Barbara Alley Simon is an interesting story. I have been a huge fan of retro ski fashion, but I had no idea that Barbara Alley was the name/face behind the influence of ski fashion.
She is among the most social, engaging women I've had the pleasure of meeting at the Hall of Fame Events.
Her husband, Jerry Simon was on the forefront of ski films and is one of the honored members of the hall of fame. Every year, there is a special event to bestow a "Jerry award" for the historical influencers in the ski movie world.
I was just getting to know Barbara's influence in what we have worn over the years when I visited the Olympic Ski Museum in Park City and saw her interview playing in a loop in the ski fashion area.
She is 82 years old and I'm going to bet that she never leaves the house without being "done up"
In 2017 the Alf Engen Museum featured The Barbara Alley Collection
I have friended her on Facebook and always enjoy the commentary she makes when she sees a photo of me in my retro duds.
Barbara back in the day:

Here she is, at the Squaw Hall of Fame event
Always looking her best.
