Don't let the length of these skis scare you off. These skis have a lot of rise in the tips and most of the front of the ski is off the snow until you get them in the deep stuff. These skis have a wide tip and quite a quick turn-in for such large skis. They are French and have a lighter more playful feel while still maintaining fantastic edge hold.
