A lot of folks eat turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, pie - but what are your family traditions? What family, ethnic, or random foods do you have at your table?
I'll start.
My Mom not only makes a turkey, but also a brisket (not smoked - the Jewish kind). She also makes noodle kugel and potato kugel. And we have pigs in blankets as appetizers.
For dessert, she cuts up a fresh pineapple to put on the table with all the pies and cakes (we usually have anywhere from 14-18 people), since it's delicious and helps in digestion. And she puts out After Eight dinner mints.
