I've done everything from running NASTAR to skiing deep powder and horrible crud with my two year old Kastle FX 94's.
Maybe some of the newer skis are more versatile but I'm not ready to break out my wallet yet based on reviews.
Sounds like the Stockli Laser AX is a contender...
For a Midwest bump like Nubs, I love my old Kastle RX's, they are like driving a Mercedes sport coupe compared to my Heros which are like an overly tweaked Porsche.

Fischer Motive 86 Ti. I brought 4 skis on our 8 week Colorado ski trip and every time I bring a fatter ski to the resort I regret it and wish I had my Motives once the powder is tracked out. The tips and tails are almost as fat as my 108s but that almost 20mm extra sidecut is just too much fun!

For where I live: I’d go with a Stockli Laser AX in a 175 mounted 1 cm ahead with Look Pivot 12’s.
